RIP Monitor

So yeah, my monitor died today.  It's been acting funny for months, but it finally progressed to the "I need to fix it" stage at which point it totally wonked out.  Currently it goes crazy and flickers even if there's no DVI/VGA input (it has no HDMI) so it's definitely the display's problem.  Too bad it's about a year out of warranty...

Outbreak Omega

I'd like to give a shout-out to the folks who put together Outbreak Omega, a really fascinating action shooting event which now runs two days at the end of April.  There are a lot of great events in the gun world I'd love to attend in the coming years when I have the ability and financial security to do so (hey, shooting sports aren't cheap!), and this tops the list behind Knob Creek.

Check out the site, it's a really unique scenario-based event that frames the shooting drills and courses as part of a zombie apocalypse!
