Snowed In

Since we've got the goddamn STORM OF THE CENTURY rolling right now here in the hills of Pennsylvania, I figured this would be a good time to drop a line regarding L4D2.

For awhile now, most of us have been frequenting the fantastic 8v8 server run by Newf and co. over at No Nonsense Shenanigans which almost perfectly mirrors the kind of mod setup I would run myself.  The server's been picking up a lot of steam lately, and during primetime it can be a real bitch to get in.  That's where this post comes in.

I hate to do it, but I won't sugar coat it: this is a donation-begging post.  Gameservers (see banner above) is offering a special deal with the New York/Jersey datacenter here in the east for a major discount.  On top of that, a three-month pre-pay would land us an additional 5% off, bringing the total to roughly $68* for three months of 16-slot L4D2 madness.

Donors will of course get something or other in return (reserved slots are always a good start) and the satisfaction that instead of having one server full all the time we'll have another server with the same mods ready to go.  I'm open to suggestions for more benefits to offer folks who donate, so feel free to comment below.
