Mike Durand on Custom Models/Skins in L4D

One of the members over at L4Dmods sent out an inquiry to Mike Durand, the SDK manager at Valve, about the beta L4D SDK lacking any model import/export tools, and what the future holds for custom model and skin creation in the game.  Mike's reply affirmed that model tools are in the works, and will be packaged into the final SDK release in the near future.  Near future is in Valve time of course.

Heh, then we only need to wait till July 2010 for custom skin and map support in l4d2.

Well according to an interview on slashdot, its a full-fledged game because the changes cant be backported to L4D otherwise it would completely break the gameplay, which is a load of bullshit.
